In this event we will screen the City of Memphis CDP story to demonstrate how they are building a sustainable economy through innovative solutions to tackle climate change. What can they teach us about accelerating city action? After the film screening, we have a short discussion (not formal panel) where we will invite the City of Memphis Mayor, our partner from the Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative (who works with 100+ Mayors along the MS river) as well as investors to talk about the impact of climate change and flooding and how cities like Memphis are preparing for future impacts. The goal of the event is to use the film as a way to focus attention around natural infrastructure solutions to climate change faced by cities.
