At Nature4Climate we like to celebrate nature’s role in fighting dangerous climate change. This week brings together a hat trick of UN observance days.  21st March is International Day of Forests, followed by 22nd March being World Water Day and the 23rd March being World Meteorological Day. We see it as all related. The world is facing unprecedented losses in biodiversity, and immense social and economic challenges. To address these challenges, governments have also created global framework—the Sustainable Development Goals. It is against this backdrop that we have an opportunity like no other to promote nature as a catalyst for sustainable development and to beat climate change. By protecting, restoring and sustainably managing biodiversity we will have a better chance to achieve a better future for all.
