How Can Renewable Energy be Tripled by 2030 in Harmony with Nature?

Partnerships for accelerating nature-positive renewable energy in ways that deliver for biodiversity and communities

Earlier this year, more than 250 organisations came together to call for a global target to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030 to be adopted by parties at CoP28. Meeting this target will require ambitious cross-sector mobilization and collaboration. This session will delve into the partnerships and initiatives that can facilitate meeting this target in a just, equitable and nature positive way, and share existing examples of best practices for integrating biodiversity into renewable energy development.
