NbS Investment Roundtables: Expert Guidance and Practical Strategies for Investing in and Procuring Nature-Based Solutions

We will be hosting five separate one-hour thematic sessions to provide practical insights and encourage dialogue to drive practices that will result in the highest integrity NbS projects. Each investor roundtable will focus on different areas of investment opportunities across the Global South. Showcase existing investments, providing insight into how they have been structured and discussion of how projects can become more attractive to future investment.

These roundtables are facilitated discussions designed to explore what is working, how they have been structured and what guidance is available and what opportunities are in the pipeline. Each session will both provide experts for advice, signpost the latest guidance and provide plenty of space for discussion.

Each session will feature speakers from businesses sharing their practical experiences, accompanied by technical speakers and expert practitioners. The sessions aim to practically help you navigate key topics and geographies with clear signposting of best advice and guidance and all followed by a facilitated discussion and Q&A with the audience.

The room will be set up as four round tables for discussions to encourage engagement. To promote a more active dialogue, the capacity of the room will be capped at 40 to facilitate good participation.

• Indigenous Economy – 13:30-14:30 – Facilitator: Anna Lehmann (Peoples Forests Partnership)
• Mangroves and Blue Carbon  – 15:00-16:00 – Facilitator: Jen Howard (Global Mangrove Alliance);
• Asia  – 16:30-17:30 – Facilitator: Edwin Seah  (SCeNe Coalition).
