Can we balance what truly matters, such as people, nature, society and the economy?
Join us as we launch the new beta Framework for Integrated Decision-making where you will be among the first people to contribute to a new systems wide innovation that can help to make balanced decision-making a reality.
The Framework for Integrated Decision-making consists of required steps that provide practical conditions to meet when making integrated decisions. These steps are supported by two new pieces of technical guidance: the Capitals Protocol, which consolidates internationally recognized frameworks on natural, social & human capital and provides in-depth guidance on how to manage the trade-offs between the different capitals; and, the Governance for Valuation, which builds confidence and provides much-needed structure around valuation and impact measurement.
You will hear from members of the Capitals Coalition who have agreed recommended boundaries for how to value what matters and those who have been applying capitals valuations for years and are now finding solutions to the practicalities of integration. Finally, we will be inviting you to contribute your input into this beta phase. So, join us and help address the biggest challenge we face today: how to value what matters to address multiple challenges in a complex world in a structured, simple, and focused way.
