The Nature Positive Hub at London Climate Action Week 2024
A private sector dialogue towards a net zero, nature positive future.
Building upon the success of our Nature Positive Hub at New York Climate Week, we are bringing Nature Positive to London Climate Action Week in collaboration with NGO partners and private sector sponsors. N4C is hosting a day of discussions and networking opportunities, on June 26th, around overcoming hesitation from:
- Finance: Moving portfolios away from deforestation-related investments, and into nature-based solutions.
- Carbon markets: To accelerate responsible corporate action to deliver net zero and nature positive in an integrated way.
- Use of technology: To deliver transparency and accountability.
The Nature Positive Hub aims to:
- Showcase private sector action and investment at the nexus of nature and climate.
- Identify means to overcome the barriers to delivering nature positive.
- Enable information exchange and collaboration.
The Nature Positive Hub is part of the NCS Alliance’s programme starting on Monday 24 June and ending on 28 June. Ten events are scheduled across London, hosted by the NCS Alliance and its members. The NCS Alliance’s programme offers plenty of opportunities to learn more about how to procure high-integrity NCS credits and to meet businesses that have built a solid experience in procurement and NCS credits providers. You can view the full programme here: London Climate Week – World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)
