Enabling NCS investment: policy barriers & solutions

Effective policy is an indispensable tool to enable greater investment in natural climate solutions (NCS). This session, intended for investors, carbon credit buyers, and policymakers, will focus on a discussion of key policy constraints and opportunities that need to be addressed to scale investment in NCS for the voluntary market. It will present findings and insights from a Forest Investor Club (FIC) discussion paper that aims to raise awareness of these policy issues and mobilize collective efforts in policy discussions that strengthen the business case for investment in high-integrity NCS.
