Mobilizing Finance for Forests: Catalyzing Natural Climate Solutions at Scale – An important announcement from the UK Government and FMO

This session will feature a significant announcement from the UK Government and FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, related to their joint “Mobilising Finance for Forests (MFF)” programme. MFF was launched in 2021 with funding from the UK government and is aimed at unlocking private sector investment in projects that protect and restore tropical forests across Latin America, Africa and Asia. The initiative is managed by FMO. The announcement will be followed by a high-level panel discussion on the importance of blended finance and civil society collaboration for scaling investment in natural climate solutions.
