How Carbon Market Convergence Creates New Opportunities

Online

Wednesday 21st February 2024
00:00 - 23:59

A notable shift is underway as the VCM and compliance markets have been increasingly converging, driven by two key trends; increased regulation in the VCM and the expansion of compliance markets.

This means carbon credits are playing a larger and more visible role as the ‘net’ in ‘net zero.’ As these waves continue, the voluntary carbon market’s role in the net zero economic transition is becoming even more important.

This expert panel will delve into why this is an opportunity to strengthen quality and transparency, and how buyers can take advantage of this opportunity and navigate the change.

Biochar: Lift-off for Engineered Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR)?

Online

Tuesday 27th February 2024
00:00 - 23:59

Interest and investment in Engineered Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR), which remove CO2 from the atmosphere and permanently store it in geological or organic forms, are trending upward. The ability to remove a large scale of emissions and lock it away for decades or centuries makes engineered CDR an increasingly attractive choice for carbon credit buyers, suppliers, and investors alike.

The webinar will provide an overview on CDR, and deep-dive into one of the fastest-growing CDR technologies, Biochar. We will explore why Biochar is so highly valued by the market, and assess what its potential can be to scale the CDR market.

Join a team of expert analysts as they discuss Biochar’s key integrity considerations, leveraging integrity assessments of over 30 biochar projects, and provide an outlook for pricing and demand for biochar based on detailed production cost and market modelling.
