This event will focus on showcasing innovative solutions to protect from and adapt to climatic impacts whilst slowing further warming, supporting biodiversity, and securing ecosystem services (ie. sustainable development co-benefits). After a global overview of the role of NBS in enabling human adaptation, a series of short talks will provide a forum to learn about how working with nature is transforming people’s lives in the face of climate change. Then, through a structured panel discussion with the audience, we will explore challenges and opportunities around how we might take NbS for adaptation to scale.
