Doris Duke Foundation, U.S. Climate Alliance and JM Kaplan Fund
Tuesday, September 24th, 2024
10:30 - 11:30
States are leading the charge to harness America’s natural and working lands to achieve our climate goals and secure a clean and resilient net-zero future. In communities throughout the country, natural and working lands like farms, forests, wetlands, and coastal areas are providing critical climate benefits – such as sequestering carbon, mitigating floods, and reducing urban heat. At this session, top state officials from across the U.S. Climate Alliance will highlight how governors are advancing next-generation policies on natural and working lands, leveraging historic federal funding to accelerate action, and building resilient communities and ecosystems.
Location: Convene, 101 Park Ave, New York. Room: Chrysler Forum.
