From vision to action: Indigenous leadership and integrity in carbon markets

At a time when the credibility of carbon markets faces intense scrutiny, this session places Indigenous Peoples as well as local community leadership at the heart of the conversation. Drawing on lived experience, Indigenous Peoples’ Knowledges, and direct engagement in climate solutions, panellists will reflect on what integrity looks like on the ground – and why rights-based approaches must shape the future of the market.

The session will open with a brief address previewing the Forum’s evolving strategy and spotlighting new forms of leadership, partnership, and accountability.
