Sharing Lessons and Building Amazon-Basin Wide Collaboration: Redirecting Climate Finance Towards Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs) to Accelerate Natural Climate Solutions (NCS)

In the Amazon Basin (Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Colombia), TNC has been promoting discussions and analysis with indigenous organizations to understand how we can elevate IP&LCs to access climate finance and participate in NCS projects. This event brings together Indigenous and government representatives for an empowered discussion on how to empower and elevate IP&LC access to climate finance, participating in NCS projects based on respect for their rights.
