Webinars: How Can Naturebase Support Indigenous People to Accelerate NbS Projects and Policy Development?

Naturebase is a leading-edge online platform that provides tools and resources to identify, analyse, and make informed decisions about implementing high-integrity nature-based projects with substantial carbon mitigation impact while also safeguarding biodiversity. Naturebase is a free tool developed by Nature4Climate and international partners to accelerate the implementation of NCS globally. 

As both implementers of nature-based solutions through Indigenous community action land and influencers of policy, we invite Indigenous peoples and representatives to attend webinars on either of these subjects during May. 

For those working in policy, we have a webinar titled ‘Using naturebase to inform policy and strategies for climate and natural resource management.  This is for those seeking to develop or influence policy to deliver positive biodiversity and climate outcomes through interventions on land, driven by policy, plans or practical action. 

For project implementers and landholders we are hosting a webinar titled ‘Using naturebase to identify opportunities for high-integrity natural climate solutions projects’. This webinar is for Indigenous-led companies, financial institutions, governments, or communities interested in developing the potential to use nature-based land protection, management, or restoration activities as investment strategies or for carbon mitigation.
