First Look: Designing the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF)

Join this session hosted by the Government of Brazil for a first look at the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF). Announced at COP28, TFFF is a global permanent fund dedicated to supporting tropical forest conservation. It will use its earnings to pay a fixed amount per hectare of conserved rainforest, while maintaining the principle investment. This session will explain key aspects of the proposed fund, including forest nation eligibility, the financial model, and governance structure, and open a dialogue for further engagement.
