From crop-loss and water scarcity to resource competition and increasing social conflict, companies must redesign their sustainability strategies to mitigate the increasing risk to business-as-usual posed by climate change. But how cna companies adapt to these new realities and build resilience – the inherent and continued ability to recover from shocks and stressors – in a future of constant change? In this panel, hear what steps [X companies] are taking to mitigate and adapt to a volative climate. And, through insight gleaned from field research and with a nature-first mindset, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) will also share key actionable principles designed to strengthen corporate resilience planning. The panel will be followed by an interactive session where attendees are invited to ask questions and share their goals, actions, challenges, and lessons learned – and how we can scale out efforts to amplifying resilience strategies together.

Speakers:

  • Shaun Martin (Senior Director, Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience, World Wildlife Fund)
  • Ben Jordan (Senior Director of Environmental Policy, Coca-Cola)
  • Andre Fourie (Global Director, Water Sustainability, AB-InBev)
