Green Up to Cool Down: Creating an incentive driven approach to land restoration

The Green Up to Cool Down campaign is moving past a business-as-usual advocacy approach and is taking a focused, incentive-driven programmatic approach aimed at large-scale land restoration efforts. In a collaborative, unified approach the Global EverGreening Alliance is bringing together key actors from the private sector, scientific and technical fields and NGOs to create incentives for all parties involved so that we can accelerate and scale up solutions to land degradation and climate change. In a 2-hour facilitated round table event, participants will be involved in accelerating solutions and will walk away with concrete actions.

This event will explore different aspects that play an important role in creating change at scale: community involvement, nature-based solutions, private sector financing, collaboration and effective coordinated implementation.
